The iconic Boston Marathon® returns on April 20, 2026, bringing together world-class athletes, dedicated runners, and cheering spectators from around the globe. As the city comes alive with energy and community pride, we celebrate the spirit of perseverance, unity, and accomplishment that defines Marathon Monday.
Keep an eye out for an opportunity to join the YMCA’s very own Boston Marathon Team and fundraise to support the Y’s programming!
Join us for an elegant celebration at The Collective Lounge in the Winthrop Center April 24 at 7PM. Proceeds from the event will go towards funding the Hunger Prevention efforts of the YMCA of Greater Boston.

YMCA of Greater Boston
An annual corporate team-building initiative designed to support a corporate ethos of giving back. Through fierce competition for a great cause, the YGB Games fosters camaraderie among colleagues. Your team will face off against competitors in games like dodgeball, basketball, etc. to determine who comes out on top! As a bonus, when you & your colleagues decide to register, you also will be significantly improving the lives of youth and families in the Greater Boston community.

Join us for a fun day of golf! The day will be filled with tournament, raffles, silent auction and more! Proceeds from the golf tournament will go towards funding the programs of the Parkway Community YMCA. Registration begins at 10:30am. This 5K Race is a Needham staple for the 4th of July holiday. This year the Race will take place on Saturday, July 4th and begin at 8:30am. All proceeds will benefit the Charles River YMCA and help make it possible for all members of our local community to benefit from our programs and memberships.
The YMCA of Greater Boston is looking to assemble a team of rockstar runners to fundraise for the Y at the Falmouth Road Race, one of the premier running events of the Summer! Get involved to help us raise money to continue to support our programs providing quality youth development, aquatics and safe spaces for health and wellness in our community.

Join us for a golf tournament competition Monday, August 31st at 7:30AM at Ferncroft Country Club! Your participation in our Battle for the Bay Golf Tournament supports youth and teen programs in East Boston and Charlestown.
