About the Education and Training Branch at the YMCA of Greater Boston

The Y’s Education and Training Branch has provided support to underserved populations in Greater Boston, especially newcomers to America, the unemployed, and the underemployed since 1975. Our programs including English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) adult education and workforce development help those living in poverty to move into economic stability and self-sufficiency.

The Education and Training Branch currently provides high quality English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) adult education programs in Boston and Woburn at the International Learning Center (ILC), and workforce development programs at Training, Inc. in Boston.
