The adventure is yours to choose at Burbank Camp! All tracks take part in the classics of swimming and outdoor play daily.
TRACK 1: CREATIVE ARTS
Enjoy arts of all sorts! From clay to painting, self-portraits to pastels-this track gives campers exposure to hands-on use of a variety of materials. The arts don’t stop there-there is also a bi-weekly drama component that gives campers the chance for some fun self-expression. Watch camper’s imaginations come to life!
TRACK 2: SPORTS AND HEALTHY LIVING
A camp track for the kid on the go! Not only do we teach the essential game skills, we foster good sportsmanship and cooperative play through team building activities. We incorporate active habits and healthy competition to encompass the whole package and give youth the tools to become a well-rounded player.
TRACK 3: EINSTEINS & ENGINEERS
Calling all explorers, investigators, and scientists! Join this track to test and apply your knowledge in various STEM related theme weeks. From building rockets during our “Outer Space” week or discovering what’s right in our own backyard during “Plants & Nature” week!
CAMP QUANNAPOWITT New Location Coming Soon! Camp Hours: 7:30am-5:30pm
Campers engage in a wide variety of cooperative games, team-building, sports, arts & crafts, and outdoor play based on the weekly theme. Campers venture to the Burbank YMCA to engage in swimming weekly. On Wednesdays the camp will travel to a different location each week for a field trip!
Youth Leaders (Middle School): The youth leader program encourages campers to take on responsibility while gaining independence. Campers will participate in all regular camp activities including swimming and field trips. They will also get the opportunity to complete community service projects and learn how to be a role model!
LIT’s (High School): Our Leaders-In-Training program builds leadership and employment skills for those teens who are interested in becoming counselors. LIT’s will learn to work with groups, hold training sessions, and still have time to be campers. Training will focus on leadership, behavior management, safety, communication, and other skills – all while creating a sense of achievement for younger teens.
NEW! VR Camp: Immerse your camper in the cutting edge world of virtual reality this summer! Campers will still participate in outdoor time and camp wide activities. Specialty program during our regular camp day so everything is all in one place! Sessions 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 only.
CLUB CAMP AND CAMP ADVENTURE Location: Saint Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Reading, MA Camp Hours: 7:30am-5:30pm
Younger campers (5-7) will engage in specialized two weeks sessions including Cooking, Creative Arts, Theatre/Drama and Messy Exploration on site. Campers are bussed to the Burbank YMCA for swimming every Wednesday.
Older campers (8+) will attend weekly trips to a variety of destinations around New England! Over the course of the summer, we will venture to different museums, zoos, aquariums, a minor league baseball game, and even a Pirate Cruise!
CAMP WAKANDA Location: 443 Main ST, Boxford, MA Camp Hours: 7:30am-5:30pm
Our traditional day camp experience, focused on relationship building, achievement, and a sense of belonging. On our beautiful lakefront in Boxford, MA, campers take part in swimming, boating, high and low ropes activities, archery, sports, outdoor education, drama, arts & crafts, and so much more! Transportation included in weekly rate.
