This year the Race will take place on Thursday July 4th and begin at 8:30am. The first 400 registrants will receive a limited edition t-shirt. All proceeds will benefit the Charles River YMCA and help make it possible for all members of our local community to benefit from our programs and memberships.

Cycle Out Cancer: Ride in Memory of Mary Ellen

Please join us as at the Burbank YMCA as we pedal in memory of Mary Ellen Napolitana and support LIVESTRONG at the YMCA – a program that provides a free 12-week membership, support and fitness program to cancer survivors.
Mary Ellen passed away from cancer in June 2020. She raised her son, Corey, in Reading and spent over 10 years at the Burbank YMCA lighting up our spin room with her amazing classes. Known for her love of all types of music, on-bike trivia games and her annual Blues Brothers ride, she inspired everyone with her positive attitude and encouraging mantra “Who’s better than you? Nobody!” Join us for an outdoor spin fundraiser in her memory.
