Use these workouts to help your Y earn points!

Workout 1

  • Warm-up: 3 min on stationary rower or any machine that engages the whole body (light intensity)
  • Leg press: 2 sets of 12 reps each at moderate intensity (selectorized strength)
  • Cardio: Upright/Recumbent bike 5 min. RPE= 6 (1-10 scale)
  • Row: 2 sets of 12 reps each at a moderate intensity (selectorized strength)
  • Chest Press: 2 sets of 12 reps each at a moderate intensity (selectorized strength)
  • Cardio: Treadmill 5 min. RPE=6
  • Core: Stability ball crunches (1 min)
  • Prone plank: 1 min total (may be more than 1 attempt
  • Stretches: Quadriceps, Hamstrings, Calves, and Pectorals

Workout 2

  • Warm-up: 200 yard freestyle swim
  • 3-50 yard your choice of stroke (60% intensity)
  • Cool-down: 200 yard freestyle swim
