Investing in our Communities
YMCAs are more than just bricks and mortar structures. They're vibrant community centers, providing individuals from all walks of life with a common area in which they can interact with one another while participating in programs and activities that promote the health of spirit, mind and body. That is why we are constantly reinvesting in our facilities. Our current campaign will raise $31.3 million for three key neighborhood YMCAs in Boston.
A new YMCA on the Rose Kennedy Greenway will provide much needed services for North End, Beacon Hill, Charlestown and a welcome center for visitors exploring the new 30-acre park.
Our West Roxbury YMCA will be renovated and expanded to meet the needs of growing families throughout the area - with more space for children's programming, teen activities and families.
Our Hyde Park YMCA is being renovated and expanded to meet community needs. Work has already begun on this exciting $8.1 million project!
