Out of School Time Programs

The Charles River YMCA is proud to be part of the YMCA of Greater Boston, the largest provider of state licensed child care in Massachusetts with school age programs in local public schools and at community sites. Programs are held during after school hours, school vacations, on certain holidays and teacher professional development days. Many sites also offer before school programs. All of our programs focus on character development and re-enforce the four core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. In addition, the curriculum promotes self-confidence, respect for one another, and community building skills,

Your child will be offered activities in literacy, science, performing arts, homework support, non-competitive sports and games, group projects, arts and crafts, and field trips to local points of interest. As part of our signature health and wellness curriculum, iPlay, your child will receive nutritious snacks and engage in structured, fun physical activities.

Days: Monday - Friday (2, 3 or 5 day options with holiday and vacation week options available)
