The Personal Trainers here at the Burbank YMCA can help you reach your fitness goals by creating a program that is unique to you. Whatever your training goals, we will take your fitness level to new heights! You will receive a personalized program, fitness assessments (optional), individual and safe instruction, periodic progress updates, support, encouragement, and information about health and fitness. We even offer group training. If you and your friend(s) have similar goals, a personal trainer can design a training session for both of you to work out together.
All of the personal trainers at the Burbank YMCA have either a degree in fitness and/ or a national certification from agencies such as: ACE (American Council on Exercise), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), and NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine).

A goal session is a 30 minute session with a personal trainer that is included with a package of 3 one hour training sessions or more. During this time, you will be able to tell the personal trainer your goals and health background so they can design the appropriate program for you.
After your “Goal Session” your personal trainer will design an individualized program to meet your needs. Your personal trainer will then guide you through your personalized workout carefully monitoring intensity, form, and technique.
Set a baseline to track your fitness progress by receiving a comprehensive fitness assessment which includes: flexibility, cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and body composition. This can be incorporated into one of your training sessions.

Full payment must be made when you register. We cannot reserve session times without full payment. If you fail to notify your personal trainer of a cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, you will still be charged for the training session.
