100 years of improving lives
The YMCA’s Celebrate A Century event on Tuesday, October 23rd at the Fairmont Copley Hotel was a great success. The evening brought together over 300 of Greater Boston’s foremost business and civic leaders in support of the YMCA mission to strengthen the foundation of community. The evening raised over $640,000 to support the Y’s work with children and families in 2013.
The Y was honored to have Celtics Coach Doc Rivers share his personal Y story and the tremendous impact the Y has had on his life and that of his own children.

Thank you to our Platinum Sponsors
On behalf of everyone from the YMCA of Greater Boston, we are proud to acknowledge all the corporations, foundations and individuals who have made this event possible through their generous support. On October 23rd we shine a spotlight on celebrating a century of dedication to improving youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in the Great Boston community. We look forward to celebrating many more.
A special thank you to our Platinum Sponsors who will help us honor the thousands of youth of yesterday and today that through the YMCA are cultivating the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement.
