Support the Annual Campaign - Strengthen Your Community
Your support is necessary to fund many of the Y programs and services that families that are in need use every day. Together we can ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn grow and thrive in a YMCA program.
We Need Your Help
To give you a sense of how great the need is for the services we provide, this year, the Roxbury YMCA will grant about $384,000 in financial assistance to families in need. This will allow us to support all families in our community who want or need our services. In addition, funds we generated through our Annual Reach Out Campaign offset the amount of financial assistance we allocate for our After-School, Summer Camp, Preschool, Youth Enrichment and Youth Sports programs.

Have you ever wondered how you can help change someone’s life for the better and what that would feel like? Hundreds of people, just like you, know what that great feeling is like because they support the Roxbury YMCA Reach Out campaign.
With their help, last year alone, the YMCA was able to impact over 1,000 kids, families, and individuals of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. YMCA donors change, improve and even save lives through the support they give the Roxbury YMCA during Reach Out.
With your help, we can offer camp and after school scholarships, membership grants to people with disabilities and families in need, and help kids and families in our community in countless ways. We welcome you to visit our Y in action, day or night, you will be amazed.
The YMCA Annual Fund
Your financial gift to our Annual Campaign will provide us with the recourses necessary to respond to increasing community needs. The Roxbury YMCA touches the lives of children, teens and families in the Roxbury area every day with your financial support.
While programs may develop in one neighborhood, the strength of the Y is that we leverage great programs and take those to other communities that then benefit. At the Y we make it our goal that no child, family or adult is turned away due to an inability to pay full fees. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy confident, connected and secure. We can only make that promise through the support of our donors to the Y’s Annual Fund.
